Ontario Program Fees

In order to begin your Ontario Interlock Program, please ensure that you have confirmed the following:

MTO Stream Clients

  • Ensure that you have received your letter from Ministry of Transportation of Ontario indicating that you are required to participate in the Ignition Interlock Program. This letter will be noted Stream A, Stream B, Stream C, or Stream D.
  • Enroll and/or schedule your interlock installation by clicking on the button below (or click here) or, call 1-844-432-4776. If you are unable to book an install at the moment, you can still request to be enrolled. There is no cost to do so.
  • Confirm that your reinstatement fees have been paid at least 24 business hours prior to your install date. If you are unsure of your reinstatement date, please let the booking agent know, so MTO can be contacted to confirm the date for you. You can also reach out to MTO yourself if you prefer, toll-free at 1-800-303-4993 or local at 1-416-235-1086.
  • Drivers must enroll with Back on Track prior to install date. Please be advised that you may have a deadline for this requirement. (BOT not applicable for Stream C)
  • Please note, once your licence is reinstated, you will have 30 days to install or you will be removed from the program and your licence suspended. Keep this date in mind when booking your install. (This does not apply to Stream C)
  • Bring proof of ownership of the vehicle to your install appointment. If you do not own the vehicle, you will need a permission to install form completed and provided at the time of your install appointment.
  • The client must be present for blow training and paperwork during the install appointment.

Probation Clients

  • If you have a court ordered probation order for an ignition interlock, please specify this when you call in.
  • Schedule your interlock installation by clicking on the button below (or click here) or, call 1-844-432-4776.
  • You will be asked to bring your probation order with you to your install appointment if possible. This is to help us in reminding you of an upcoming removal date, as a courtesy to you.
  • Bring proof of ownership of the vehicle to your install appointment. If you do not own the vehicle, you will need a permission to install form completed and provided at the time of your install appointment.
  • The client must be present for blow training and paperwork during the install appointment.
